Geothermal Heating & Cooling Injection Wells

** NOTE:  Effective May 1, 2012, all closed-loop geothermal injection wells are permitted by rule pursuant to 15A NCAC 02C .0217.  All well construction notifications shall be processed via the DWR Regional Offices and on the new form; all old forms are no longer valid.

In Situ Remediation Injection Wells

** NOTE:  Effective May 1, 2012, certain in situ groundwater remediation, tracer, and aquifer test injections are permitted by rule in accordance with 15A NCAC 02C .0217.
